Adriene serves as the Director of Inclusive Engagement at SDI Presence LLC, where she leads the firm’s signature “presence” initiatives focused on driving revenue growth, building diverse business partnerships, and forging strategic relationships with community stakeholders and supplier partners. She also oversees the company’s outreach and community engagement efforts and is the advisor of the employee-led, all-inclusive business resource group (BRG) – EQU – dedicated to colleague development, community involvement, and fostering an inclusive company culture.
Adriene is instrumental in guiding SDI toward its ambitious goal of investing over $130 million in diverse suppliers and businesses by 2027. With more than 25 years of experience, Adriene has a proven track record in designing and implementing top-tier supplier and business diversity development programs for global organizations. Her expertise spans stakeholder and employee engagement strategies, community reinvestment initiatives, and supporting success across corporate, non-profit, and national environments.
Her career includes leadership roles at renowned organizations such as MillerKnoll, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of Ohio River Valley, Key Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Ameren Corporation, JP Morgan Chase, and Kelly Services, Inc. Adriene has been recognized for her contributions with numerous awards throughout her career. She was honored by the Women’s Informal Network as one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Most Influential Black Women, received both the “Buyer of the Year” and “The Chairman’s Award” from the St. Louis Minority Business Council, was listed in “Who’s Who in Black St. Louis,” and acknowledged as one of Lambert Airport’s Women Builders of Dreams. In 2022, Diversity Plus Magazine named her among its “Top 25 Diversity Change Leaders,” highlighting her dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in business.
Adriene is deeply involved in professional and community organizations, including the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), Chicago MSDC, BLC-Chicago, Chicago United, and the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA). She has also served on various non-profit boards in cities such as Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Hartford, St. Louis, and Detroit.
Her academic credentials include a DEI Management certification from Cornell University’s School of Labor and Industrial Relations (2024), an Advanced Supply Chain Management certification from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University (2008), and a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Human Ecology at Howard University.
