Maintenance Services and Technical Support for Housing Authority

Project Description

A Housing Agency recently underwent an IT strategic planning initiative in which it was determined that the assistance of an experienced project management firm is needed for multiple concurrent IT projects. Further, the agency needs to develop superuser and technical subject matter experts for the systems listed in the scope. The consultant(s) will report to the Director of Administrative Services and work in coordination with IT staff as well as other departments to implement and manage these projects. The projects are at varying stages of development/implementation.

Project Goals

The Agency seeks to partner with a consulting company that has proven project managers with the skills and expertise to successfully implement IT projects.

Services Delivered

SDI services delivered, include but are not limited to the following:

  • Development of scope for bid packages
  • Evaluation of respondents to bid packages
  • Develop and manage the project plans through completion identifying risks and mitigation options ensuring that the project falls within the budget and allotted time
  • Develop and present project charters to Executive Management
  • Present status updates and decision points to Executive Management
  • Change Management for assigned projects
  • Identify risks and options for mitigation
  • End-user and administration training
  • Perform assessment of existing processes and make recommendations for improving efficiencies
  • Develop training and instruction documentation
  • Conduct Needs Assessment to determine project scope
