Event Management System Implementation for Category X Airport

Project Description

The Aviation Department chose to implement an advanced EMS as a comprehensive replacement to the current Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, for use by the Airport Command Center (CC) as a keystone application. The Airport selected Saab’s innovative and user-friendly SAFE event management solution that can facilitate a host of other security and operational systems functionality. Additionally, the integration of the SAFE solution with the existing Aerobahn flight operations system will immediately allow the City of Phoenix to holistically understand the effect incidents have on the entire airfield. The systems will deliver a key common operating picture to allow for the focused application of critical resources at decisive times and places. This is a multi-phase project.
