Project Description

The City contracted with SDI to establish an IT planning framework based on its strategic objectives. SDI began with an assessment of the City’s existing technology resources and use of those resources compared to best practices and the City’s goals and priorities. SDI then made recommendations to help improve IT service delivery and address the City’s immediate information technology needs.

  • Gathered information regarding IT processes, challenges, and issues through a survey of the user community, interviews with key user stakeholders, and interviews with IT management and staff
  • Performed an independent assessment of how closely the City’s current IT practices conform to best practices, resulting in specific recommendations on IT governance, the City’s business technology applications, IT service delivery, infrastructure, security, and administration
