Christina Belmont

VP - Marketing

Christina leads SDI’s marketing department. An extremely passionate marketer with nearly 15 years of professional marketing under her belt, Christina’s experience spans website development and maintenance, search engine optimization, social media management, content marketing, sales enablement, public relations, internal/external communications, and more.

Previously, Christina served as the Global Head of Marketing at Australia-based transit payments, information, and analytics firm Vix Technology (Vix), where she was responsible for the strategic development and delivery of marketing content, communications, and brand strategy–as well as action plans to achieve the growth and sales objectives of the business.

Before Vix, Belmont served as Director of Marketing at Genfare, a subsidiary of SPX Corp. and an Illinois-based transit fare collection organization. At Genfare, her responsibilities included establishing a strong culture and brand presence, as well as ensuring clear messaging to employees, clients, and prospects. She also established a comprehensive rebranding task force to positively transform the company’s image.

Belmont is an active member of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), serving currently as Chair of both its Fare Collection Systems Committee and the APTA EXPO Advisory Committee. She is also a 2020 graduate of APTA’s Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) and served as a National Mentor to the ELP classes of 2022 and 2023. In 2019, Mass Transit Magazine honored Belmont in its Top 40 Under 40 list–a peer-nominated collection of the industry’s crème de la crème for their professional commitment, involvement, achievement, and innovation. She is also an elected director on APTA’s Business Members Board of Governors (BMBG).
