Technology Support for Major City’s Transit System
A major Transit Authority was seeking a partner to support the managed services for their network, servers, desktops, monitoring, and help desk functions.
One of the nation’s largest tolling authorities was seeking Technical Planning and Project Management Services to assist in many aspects of its technology program, such as identification, development and implementation of a Tollway technology strategy, program management, short-term and long-term project management, hardware and software administration and support, professional writing, and technical support. Services shall include technology related services and resources.
The tollway contracted with SDI for Professional Services to help lead Technology Planning and ongoing technology project coordination in the following key areas:
Every day, the SDI staff delivers reliable project management and technical planning services, allowing the tollway authority to reach their goals of congestion relief, enhanced travel safety, and improved corridor transportation system operations.
SDI has assisted the Tollway in implementing strategic multimillion dollar upgrades and changes to their critical systems and infrastructure. SDI has also assisted in re-engineering and implementing critical change management and support processes. SDI’s embedded teams supports the Tollway in critical system changes and infrastructure projects, many of which are currently going through the recently implemented revised development methodology.
Overall, the Tollway relies on SDI to guide them through process changes and to support key project initiatives critical to revenue and customer service, as well as long- term stability of the tollway authority’s technology infrastructure.
