Physical Security for Large Beverage Company

Project Description

A major consumer beverage company will build an 800,000+ square-foot distribution center in Glendale, Arizona. Construction of the distribution center is scheduled to begin in Q4 2020, and the facility is expected to be operational in 2021.

The project team is working with the company on the interior facility design requirements that will be used as the basis for the construction RFP. There are 7 Workstreams on the overall project. SDI is responsible for the Physical Security workstream which ties tightly with the IT Application and IT Infrastructure workstreams. Other workstreams include Business Design, Program Governance, OCM and Training, and DC Layout.

Project Goals

This will be the beverage company’s first distribution center in the US and their goal is to streamline their North American distribution operations.
