At SDI, we are built for agility, we believe in flexibility, and we collaborate to win. After taking over our largest IT managed services contract on February 1, 2020, we showed our agility by enabling that client to go 100% remote within 50 days. This year we demonstrated our flexibility. While many of our employees returned to work at client sites, many retained the option of a hybrid work schedule. Our cross-functional teams collaborated to achieve our goals as #OneSDI.
2022 has been a record revenue year for us. We added more than 70 new logos to our portfolio as of mid-December. Considering this success alongside our outstanding CSAT rating of 91.48% for this year, we’re anticipating strong growth in 2023, leading to the creation of more career opportunities for our colleagues. While growing our business, we remained present for our community with 45.43% diverse business spend through November 30th.
This year, SDI celebrated the phenomenal achievements of several colleagues, and we also gave back to the less fortunate. Our ServiceNow Solutions Director was awarded the lifetime achievement award by the Help Desk Institute. During 2022, SDI employees participated in nearly a dozen group charity/awareness events, raising a collective total of nearly $7,500 to fight ALS, cystic fibrosis, breast cancer, and more. And did I mention, 20 of us plunged into the cold Lake Michigan water on March 5th, and another 20 pulled a 180,000 lb. plane – to help support Special Olympics Illinois?
Our apprentice and internship programs helped support our communities by giving local college students the opportunity to get exposure to the business world. SDI welcomed 19 interns this year, and five of them are now full-time SDI employees.
As icing on the cake, in October, the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) designated SDI a Corporate Plus® member, endorsing us as the cream of the MBE crop. SDI became one of the only 23 diverse IT suppliers among 12,000 NMSDC certified diverse suppliers nationally. NMSDC’s corporate partners rely heavily on the Corporate Plus group to fulfill procurement requirements while also reaching their diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. To further achieve NMSDC’s diverse spend goal, SDI has committed to a minimum of $100M cumulative spend with our diverse partner firms by 2026.
We’re looking forward to a bright future ahead!
