WASHINGTON, DC, June 20, 2011 — SDI (System Development.Integration, LLC.), a systems integrator specializing in public sector security technologies and infrastructure, announces that it has been awarded a Schedule 84 contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). SDI’s contract (#GS-07F-0565X) provides federal agencies with a means of purchasing solutions related to law enforcement, security and facilities management at competitive, pre-negotiated prices.
“SDI’s GSA schedule provides a one-stop shop for turnkey security technology projects, providing discounted pricing for industry-leading products in addition to the services of SDI’s highly-certified professional team,” said David A. Gupta, SDI President. “This GSA Schedule will allow federal agencies to quickly and efficiently access our Team’s deep expertise in converged security, facility management and operational systems.”
Under the terms of the five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract, SDI will compete for task orders in six areas: closed circuit surveillance systems; security systems integration and design services; security management and related support services; security system lifecycle support; and professional security and facility management services; and smart buildings systems integration. The GSA contract is also available to state, county and city government agencies.
With over 2 decades of experience in supporting large mission-critical environments – from government agencies, to educational organizations, to airport systems – SDI has an extensive resume of delivering complex security technology solutions that enable public safety and security responders to swiftly and effectively recognize, respond, and recover from an incident or emergency. SDI also offers an in-house networks and infrastructure team to support these technologies for improved application performance and lowered implementation costs using existing or wireless infrastructure.
“SDI’s forte is our ability to design, deploy and support cost-effective systems that leverage new and existing technology components and infrastructure to deliver situational awareness across an enterprise,” said Mark Moscinski, SDI Senior Vice President of Safety and Security. “The SDI Team understands how information is used in security operations, and we configure technology to deliver exactly what security users need – not just a ‘set it and forget it’ mentality.”
