SDI Announces Geographic Information System (GIS) Project with Large Midwestern Sewerage District

CHICAGO, February 16, 2007 — SDI (System Development.Integration, LLC.), a public sector systems integrator specializing in mission-critical environment technology systems, infrastructure and operations, announced today that it has been contracted to work on a large Midwestern sewerage district’s Geographic Information System (GIS) project, which will deploy GIS technologies to increase the efficiency and organization of the district’s business practices.

Partnering with engineering firm HNTB, SDI will conduct business process analyses and data modeling to guide the design and development of future web-based GIS applications that will be used by the district. The web-based GIS applications, supported by the district’s Enterprise GIS, will provide district staff members with detailed information on their assets and operations.

“SDI has core expertise in using GIS technologies to help our clients control and manage their assets. We are excited to help the district examine its processes and technology options to deliver the best solution possible,” says Brian Diver, Executive Vice President for the SDI. Over its past 17 years, SDI has designed and implemented various asset tracking systems for government agencies, including Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and GIS databases.
