Los Angeles, June 19, 2012 — SDI (System Development.Integration, LLC), a systems integrator specializing in airport security technologies and infrastructure, announced it has been selected as part of the Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA) Pre-qualified vendor list for Information Technology (IT) System Implementation, System Integration and other IT Project Services. LAWA is implementing a number of projects over the next three years to modernize its facilities, improve public safety and security, and upgrade service capabilities. This list provides a pool of firms to draw from as-needed to augment staff in the delivery and support of these projects.
SDI was selected based on its deep airport command center security technology expertise and demonstrated track record of delivering mission-critical IT systems and infrastructure projects, on time and within budget. SDI brings a unique mix of 20 years of safety and security and technology systems experience within a live Category X airport environment.
During the design and implementation of LAWA’s Airport Response Coordination Center (ARCC) for example, SDI worked side-by-side with architects, construction teams and a dedicated, cross-functional team to drive the physical layout of the ARCC’s facility, as well as design and deploy its underlying technical systems and infrastructure.
