Collaboration Will Fuel Workforce Talent Development with Key Technology Skills through Apprentice Programs
(Atlanta, GA) — June 23, 2026 — On Monday, June 22, SDI Presence LLC (SDI) presented a contribution to the Technology Association of Georgia’s TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) during the TAGit Global Innovation Cup Golf Tournament, an annual event that gathers technology leaders, innovators, and community partners. This partnership and contribution by SDI will support Georgia’s employer demands as employers increasingly seek talent with technical, digital, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) competencies.
TAG-Ed continuously works to expand access to practical learning experiences that connect technical knowledge with workforce needs through programs delivered in partnership with the City of Atlanta, leading manufacturers, top technology companies such as IBM and Google, and education stakeholders across Georgia.
SDI’s contribution will multiply TAG-Ed’s ability to offer experiential learning opportunities through apprenticeships, internships, career exploration programs such as Georgia’s Day of Code, Google, IBM Skillsbuild, and corporate involvement, which bridge current and upcoming professionals with innovative technologies and career pathways.
“The future of technology depends on our ability to create pathways into meaningful careers for the next generation of talent. Through our work helping apprentices become technology professionals, we have learned that workforce development is not simply about filling jobs; it is about unlocking potential, creating economic mobility and building stronger communities. SDI is proud to support TAG-Ed’s mission to expand access to the experiences and skills that will prepare tomorrow’s workforce for the opportunities ahead,” said Hardik Bhatt, CEO of SDI Presence.
“As Georgia continues to attract new businesses and technology investment, the demand for a skilled workforce is growing across the state. Recent workforce legislation and workforce development initiatives in the state underline the importance of education-to-career pathways, apprenticeship opportunities, and guaranteeing learners have access to current in-demand skills training (through AI upskilling and reskilling). This partnership and investment support the workforce programs that prepare Georgia’s workers for the jobs of tomorrow” — Dr. Loretta Daniels, Executive Director, TAG Education Collaborative.
“Georgia’s continued success as the nation’s leading state for business depends on our ability to develop and retain a strong pipeline of technology talent. Partnerships like this demonstrate how industry leaders can work alongside education and workforce organizations to create opportunities for learners while helping employers address future workforce needs”, said Larry Williams, President & CEO, Technology Association of Georgia.
By investing in TAG-Ed, SDI Presence LLC is helping build Georgia’s future talent pipeline and highlights the fundamental role industry leaders play in supporting education and workforce development initiatives. TAG-Ed welcomes collaboration with organizations seeking to invest in the current and future generation of technology talent.
