Sacramento, CA, January 21, 2019 – IT consultancy and managed services provider (MSP) SDI Presence LLC (SDI) announces that the Union Sanitary District has selected SDI to develop an IT Master Plan for the California-based water utility. The SDI project will deliver a comprehensive technology roadmap, and tools to ensure that the Plan remains in alignment with the District’s changing priorities in the future.
Union Sanitary District operates a 33 million gallon per day wastewater treatment facility in Union City and provides collection, treatment and disposal services to a total population of over 347,000 in Fremont, Newark and Union City, California. The District maintains over 800 miles of underground pipeline in its service area.

The final plan will include cost estimates and timelines for implementation of the plan and establish an IT governance framework to ensure timely IT decisions and alignment with changing business and operational needs. SDI was selected through a public procurement that considered the respondent’s past performance, capabilities, and technical approach.
