Vegas/ISCWest — April 3, 2014 — Systems integrator X7, an SDI Company, has been recognized as delivering the Most Innovative Security Project of 2013 by Verint, a leading provider of analytic software and hardware for the security, surveillance, and business intelligence markets. Together, X7 and Verint delivered the design, installation and on-going maintenance of a new IP based video surveillance system for client Morgan State University.
Morgan State has around 8000 students and is a historically African-American college in Baltimore, MD. The university had hundreds of existing analog cameras, which the X7/Verint team brought online to the new Verint Nextiva Video Management Software (VMS). X7 and Verint also designed a completely redundant architecture with two data centers mirroring one another, all held together with Marathon and VMWare software technology.

The award ceremony will be held in Verint booth #30056 during ISC West from 3:00-4:00pm. A technology demonstration will be provided after the ceremony to get an overview of the system deployed at Morgan State University.
