LOS ANGELES, September 27, 2008 -- SDI (System Development Integration, LLC), a systems integrator specializing in technical and operational support for capital asset intensive organizations, and GCTech, a Los Angeles- based Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, today jointly announce their team’s qualification to provide the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority with information technology service resources for network technology and security and technical documentation projects. With a project scope valued up to $5 million and contract term spanning to 2010, the SDI-primed team will provide information systems personnel to assist in various information technology initiatives associated with the Metro Information Technology Services Department (ITS).
The SDI and GCTech team was selected based on the collective IT expertise in network technology and security, its proposed personnel’s highly-qualified technical skill set, and competitive price to deliver the requested services. A DBE certified with LA Metro, GC Tech will contribute commercially valuable local resources and existing knowledge of LA Metro’s technical and business environment.
With over 17 years of experience in delivering critical technical support and integrated solutions for large government and transportation agencies, SDI opened its LA office in early 2008. SDI will deliver information systems personnel to supplement ITS’ existing departmental resources. The firm is actively targeting governmental agencies in the Los Angeles area, including its airports, transit, and unified school organizations.
