Firm Adds to Client Portfolio that Includes Over 80 Municipal IT Assessments and Strategic Plans Delivered Throughout California
SACRAMENTO, May 6, 2018 – IT consultancy and managed services provider (MSP) SDI Presence LLC (SDI) announces that it has been selected to develop an IT Master Plan that addresses technology use across the West Basin Municipal Water District organization. The project will deliver a comprehensive, five-year roadmap for technology implementation and support, along with complimentary processes and tools to ensure that the Plan remains in alignment with the District’s changing priorities in the future.
West Basin Municipal Water District is a wholesale water agency that provides imported drinking water to 17 cities and unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County throughout its 185 square mile service area. West Basin sought out a qualified consultant to deliver a technology master plan to assess the current environment, and to develop and articulate a vision for the effective use of technology to support the work of West Basin. The IT Master Plan will assess existing District IT initiatives, systems, and infrastructure; and identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements. The final plan will include cost estimates and timelines for implementation of the plan and establish an IT governance framework to ensure timely IT decisions and alignment with changing business and operational needs. SDI was selected based on evaluation criteria that included the firm’s past performance, capabilities, and a comprehensive technical approach that addresses both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
