CHICAGO, March 16, 2009 -- SDI (System Development Integration, LLC), a systems integrator specializing in technical and operational support for capital asset intensive organizations, announces the appointment of John H. Barrett, CEO of leading contract building services provider Kimco, to its Board of Directors.

With numerous years of senior level management experience in the facilities services industry, Mr. Barrett brings a proven understanding of the services business model. Prior to his role at Kimco, Mr. Barrett has held executive positions at Gemini Industries, National Service Pro's, Unicco Service Company, Ogden Services Corporation and Xerox. Mr. Barrett has been elected to the Board of Directors of five other organizations, including Digital Innovations, Gemini Industries, BSCAI and ISSA. He is an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, International Facility Management Association, as well as the Professional Retail Store Maintenance Association.

Mr. Barrett graduated from the University of Michigan in 1981, with a degree in Economics and Speech Communications. He received his Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago. In line with SDI's corporate citizenship practices, Mr. Barrett has served on the Evans Scholar Foundation's Selection Committee and participated in the University of Chicago's CEO Roundtable Mentor Program.
