Adriene Bruce
Director of Inclusive Engagement

Adriene currently serves as the Director of Inclusive Engagement at SDI Presence LLC. In this role, she leads the firm’s signature "presence" initiatives, which are designed to drive revenue growth, cultivate business partnerships, and establish strategic relationships with community stakeholders and supplier partners. She also oversees the company’s outreach and community engagement activities and acts as the advisor to EQU, an employee-led, all-inclusive business resource group (BRG). This group is dedicated to colleague development, community involvement, and fostering an inclusive company culture.

Adriene plays a key role in supporting SDI’s commitment to inclusive procurement, particularly with smaller suppliers and partners within the local communities the company serves. With three decades of experience, she has an impressive track record of designing and implementing leading supplier and small business development programs for global organizations. Her expertise encompasses stakeholder and employee engagement strategies, community reinvestment initiatives, and facilitating success across corporate, non-profit, and national environments.

Throughout her career, Adriene has held leadership positions at prominent organizations including MillerKnoll, the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of Ohio River Valley, KeyBank, Fifth Third Bank, Ameren Corporation, JP Morgan Chase, and Kelly Services, Inc. Her contributions have been recognized with numerous awards. Throughout her career, she has been honored by the Women’s Informal Network as one of Metropolitan Detroit’s Most Influential Black Women, received both the “Buyer of the Year” and “The Chairman’s Award” from the St. Louis Minority Business Council, featured in “Who’s Who in Black St. Louis,” and acknowledged as one of Lambert Airport’s Women Builders of Dreams. In 2022, Diversity Plus Magazine named her among its “Top 25 Diversity Change Leaders,” underscoring her dedication to advancing inclusive business practices.

Adriene’s academic background includes an Inclusive Management certification from Cornell University’s School of Labor and Industrial Relations, an Advanced Supply Chain Management certification from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Human Ecology at Howard University.
