Security industry veteran Ed Pedersen is SDI’s Executive Vice President of Sales. Formerly the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at G4S Technology, Ed is responsible for overseeing the firm’s vertically-focused sales program, which addresses critical infrastructure markets including transportation, banking and finance, commercial real estate portfolios.
Pedersen comes to SDI with more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the physical security industry. His role at G4S Technology encompassed overall sales management, including building a vertical go-to-market strategy and strategic vendor partner program. Prior to G4S, Ed held multiple leadership positions at Stanley Security Solutions, as Vice President of Custom Solutions and Regional Vice President, respectively. Earlier in his career, Ed held executive positions at HSM Electronic Protection Services and ADS Security, after cutting his teeth at ADT Security Services and SecurityLink.
Ed is an active member of ASIS. He holds a bachelors degree in Program Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
