Join SDI Presence LLC for a crash course that will thoroughly review the BOMA 2017 Building Measurement Standards. SDI will address the fundamentals and applied value of accurate square footage accounting and re-measurement initiatives. Led by SDI’s 30-year square footage accounting expert Bob Ladner, attendees will explore the BOMA standard history, terminology, calculation methods, when recalculation makes sense and cost expectations. Case studies and property methodology scenarios will be provided to illustrate the everyday use of square footage best practices by brokers, property managers, owners and architects.

Bob Ladner has been providing real estate square footage accounting services to corporate, industrial, institutional, and municipal clients for over thirty years. Bob has a staff that supports a portfolio of over 792 buildings and over 152 million square feet of property information across the nation, providing building owners with technology services to most cost-effectively manage their properties. Bob has provided clients with comprehensive electronic documentation and evacuation planning services to fully comply with the City of Chicago evacuation plan filing and signage ordinance requirements. Bob has worked directly with the City of Chicago’s Police, Fire, Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC), and the Mayor’s Office helping to define, clarify, create, and maintain the High-Rise Building Emergency Plan and related City requirements. Bob is an active member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
